That photo was also from May... all the track and the lettering is gone now. I think it's going to be hard to have it done by September but who knows

You should look at the dates of when posts are made. 

All of the old TOT track is gone, the letters (excluding the ‘tow’) have all been removed, theming has been removed off of the station, and station refreshment as well as tour repainting should be starting very soon.

No completely unexpected but re-opening has been pushed to December 

Building and queue painting has begun

There are new garden beds and lawn area 

New sign to come for entrance 

No more progress on the tower itself. I believe the few weeks of bad weather in winter caused delays and the workers scheduled to the work had to go to other jobs and will be back to complete it

Gotta say the shed already looks fifty times better than the old deteriorating theming.

This is just my personal opinion, but I wish they could of gotten rid of the raised queue, and had it at ground level, (if that makes sense). I just think it'd open that area out a bit more.

Hopefully an air con upgrade is part of the project 

(noticeable) work has started on the tower!

Here's how it looked a few days ago for comparison:

I can see the top of the tower from home and have noticed some brighter lights both at the top and also around the mid point in recent nights so it’s definitely getting a move on with night works finally 

Wow, I don't remember the last time the tower looked that good.

I don’t think you’d get a job with a company that specialises in painting at heights if you are scared of heights. 99.9% of all the jobs in the world don’t require that, so I’m sure they could find something else

The top of the tower taken today. Looks so much nicer from the carpark. And it’s a lot more noticeable on the highway too

It was a charcoal colour, with the tin of the service floors a matte silver colour with black lettering for “dreamworld tower.”

What about before the Giant Drop was installed though, before it was 'Dreamworld Tower'? I can't find any pics of it on Google, but I remember the top of the tower was completely different. I preferred it, it was way more sleek -- but I guess that's because it didn't need to house any drop mechanics. I wonder, did they remove the old tower topper completely or is it hidden somewhere underneath that tin?
