Channel 7 news had a short segment on the plane being carried through the park and placed - appears to have a lattice structure similar to a tower crane inside it to keep it sturdy. It's not on their Facebook at time of posting.

RIVERTOWN UPDATE:

We can feel the rush of Jungle Rush getting even closer! The train has gone on its first cycle around the track, making the journey through the depths of the jungle and over the future Murrissippi Motors. Come along for the ride for a soon-to-be unforgettable experience for Dreamworld guests. We're excited for the day our guests can embark on their very own journey on what will be the crowning jewel of Rivertown very soon!

Would be interesting to see whether this is the full expected cycle (running the smaller, mostly indoor section backwards & the latter outdoor portion the right way around), as, if so, that should give them ample time to get the turntable sorted out (touchwood), which I imagine is the main concern with the ride due to it being an as-of-yet unproven system.

Test at night shows DW are behind schedule.   Let's hope they can get it open.

Night testing isn't that unusual. But its also very smart, that way you can isolate the envelope during testing and have it open for continued theme work during the day.

It's also extremely costly, and not something you'd do unless you needed the time during the day... Being behind schedule on the build would be the only reason as to why you'd go to this length.

Looking at the site, it's pretty apparent that's the case.

rides always test at night, let’s just be happy it’s testing now. even if it’s because “they’re behind schedule”, atleast they’re smart with time management.
