Unless they retheme it to Match River town.

DW are making it very clear, MC isn't part of Rivertown.

I still wouldn't take it out of the question.

Refitting the ride to go along with the new theme for the area would be an undertaking in it's own right, and maybe not something the park feels comfortable with when they have already lost so many attractions in a short period of time.

But it makes a lot of sense. New trains would do wonders for the ride, I feel like that's mostly people's problems with the ride, it's really uncomfortable. Sure, the layout is not anything to write home about. But I do not think the ride would have a bad reputation around here if it was given less uncomfortable trains.

Noticed this concept imagery I hadn't seen before on the About Us page.

This does look like it's an AI generated image that might have been used internally as part of developing the concept/story for the land/ride. Which is probably why it wasn't ever released and the fact it's hidden deep within the website means it's probably not to be looked into/judged too deeply.

With the site update/new park map - has anyone noticed that Motocoaster falls under the “rivertown” section?

Each land is designated its own colour. Red being main street, blue for ocean parade etc.

Rivertown is a light green - also including Motocoaster.

A couple days ago when the new website launched, the map didn't include the coloured sections and the park map page doesn't show this either

They're seperate

For now! Considering the ride and attraction page lists Motocoaster as being a part of Main Street, but the map on the home page shows its part of Rivertown, I think its safe to assume it will be rethemed and become part of Rivertown at some stage (which we mostly assumed would be happening anyways). It's much easier to change that land label for the ride than it is to change it on a map.

This close I would have expected them to start pushing a specific opening date. they really must be going down to the wire, but the message still says 2024, so they've only got 32 days left. 10 of those are weekends, and 2 are public holidays. So they really only have 21 working days before the year is over.

Although it doesn’t look like it in-person

Jaggs Journeys has just shared an update on their socials and it's very impressive how quickly it's changed this week alone. Guard track for motors is in and external theming for the land looks to be almost done.

Per Ogre on Instagram, looks like they are reusing the Model T's for Murrisippi Motors

If you respray the model t's and make them look a bit weathered then they are ok I suppose but they don't fit the theme

It reeks of running out of cash because too much money has been spent on jungle rush

Because there is only one on the track, they could be using it to test out the guide track while construction is still happening so they don’t get damaged. A potential way to help speed up the process so they can meet the 2024 deadline.

It's almost like I flagged this a month ago, and was shut down as it being false.

That was my first thoughts.

Wouldn't you do that with one of your new vehicles if you had them? Does not serve any good purpose running a different vehicle to what is intended.

Didn’t Disney do this when they were testing Tiana’s Adventure? there is still time for them to add the additional new styled vehicles if that’s still the path they are wanting to go down.

Dreamworld gets shredded by people on here when they retire their historic vehicles.
Dreamworld also gets shredded for using and refurbishing their historic vehicles.

Either way they go, they will get shredded a new one..
