I got two rides on it! It's great, very smooth, very unique and the indoor queue is the best in the country by far. Think Leviathan's station, but it's the whole queue. No screens!

That’s awesome to hear! Was each ride the same or different layout?

Had a great visit! Was not expecting to get on Jungle Rush today, but wow, what a unique coaster!! The theming is miles ahead of anything else in Australia. The area isn't even officially open, and the immersion is incredible. Great music playing and just a lovely atmosphere.

Looks like I got my wish regarding landscaping. The only thing so far I don't love is the restaurant. Feels a bit RSL like but I am happy to give them the benefit of the doubt until all theming in. Are there any effects in the tunnel? And is the queue air conditioned?

Just a couple of random ones my son took.

😍

This is beautiful, the theming looks amazing. Can't wait to see pictures of the rest of the land.

It's currently doing the same layout, starting forwards or backwards, with the next cycle being the opposite. The train switches directions on the turntable.

It's hard to put into words but the queue's amazing. All practical, no screens whatsoever. No animatronics. The station is less impressive, but still the best at Dreamworld by default. I'm editing my footage now for a video!

The turntable room is basically a Roller Coaster version of this effect from the Disneyland Indiana Jones Ride. I don't think the effects were complete yet, but the theming and audio in there was awesome.

The rest of Rivertown was also fantastic. Murrissippi Motors looks great!

There's some awesome audio effects and theming in the turntable room, but the other indoor scenes were quite bright and not hugely themed. May be a soft opening thing. I didn't notice anything about the queue AC to be honest haha, but the turntable room wasn't hot like some people were worrying.

That would mean Jungle Rush is currently running only 1 single train and is never intending on running more than one? I mean, we kinda expected that, but I wonder how that would affect the queues upon public opening.

Looks fantastic so far! Amazing to see a soft opening before Christmas when all of the experts here were adamant the park would struggle to make Australia Day…

Glad to see they worked fast to get it open, who knew Rivertown would have a soft open before WoO? There are a few more bits and pieces but I am sure they can get them in before Boxing Day.

The only thing I don't like about the area is how the Rivertown store is just brown instead of the temple like features of the land, hopefully they can eventually fix it up if they retheme Motocoaster.

Doesn’t necessarily mean they are never intending on running more than one. It’s a soft opening, they’re not going to have 2 trains running

There is no universe where jungle rush runs 1 train in the immediate aftermath of it opening to the public.

The lines would genuinely be madness and the last thing dreamworld wants is to spit in the face of its customers by making them wait more than 2 hours for its newest major when they are still trying to convince the public to return.

It's a soft opening. I'm pretty sure both will be running on opening day

Does it?

My understanding is because it’s soft opening, not everything has been turned on yet and there might be more to come during the ride experience once it’s officially open.

So here I sit, debating if I should leave work sick and head to Dreamworld or not.  This is a tough decision.  Does anyone know if the restaurant is open as part of the soft opening?

From what I’ve seen so far, nope. And it didn’t appear MM was open either, but this could also open any day as part of the soft opening. But keep in mind as it is a soft opening there’s a chance Jungle Rush might not operate every day, or only briefly.
