The Jungle Rush sign looks great but I believe it should have been higher on the temple, because it gives you a better line of sight.

 

 

On the fence where the path split JR requires a small sign directing guest to the entry because I see many people turning right.

Is it still just a rumour that there will be waterfalls from the temple? Or is this confirmed?

also bit random, but is it normal for a post to need to be ‘approved by a moderator’? More often than not by the time I write a response and it gets approved, the conversation has well and truly moved on. How long does this requirement last? I’ve posted here and there for years but still need to be approved by a moderator?

That’s brilliant! It looks as though they’ve painted some of the interior walls too.

JR at night is such a great experience. Eyes light up on all the bats they have added through the indoor section. Water feature illuminated.

Looks like the big jewel over the entrance will light up (not yet). Also some work being done externally that’s being covered currently 

i will say i don’t think the big piece on top of the rides entrance actually looks as bad in person as it does in photos, i believe the work being covered up is the instillation of the water falls.

The problem is, that's the photo people put on their social media for others to see. (It's the money shot which ST does exceptionally well).

The gem is still being constructed, so hopefully it doesn't look like that when it's completed.

I,m also hopeful the timber fence in front of JR's jeep is temporarily because there is no chance kids can see the car through the fence.

This is a perfect example of a clear storyline executed with excellent attention to detail and a park that is fully on board. Number 4 peaks my interest, I wonder if we will see some sort of treetop walkway built on the island, could even connect over to the animal area.

If u like consistency don't go visit OZ lmfao, I have seen the videos and its awful. Is it that hard to put up shade cause DW managed to do it ok.

What do you mean? The OZ precinct is world class! They even have Batman scenery in the same section, I imagine he is trying to defeat the wicked witch 

The proposed internal chamber theming looks great. I wonder how much more is planned to be completed? So far there's only a face, a small water feature and some bats, is that right? Would be good to see the blank walls covered with some themed material. Greg always said there was going to be a proper show scene with actual mechanical moving parts, so hopefully this all comes through

there is a show scene, there’s 3 big crystals in there that move up and down depending which way the turntable is moving, like a counterweight (when it moves to the right, the crystal on that side rises as the other one lowers ect.) the walls in there (besides the start of the lift hill but they’ve started painting them), are also all put up and themed now.

Now that i've read the earthstory concept, I understand the sound effect is meant to sound like stone sliding on stone, but it just sounds like a horrible screech and I wouldn't have picked that that's what the sound was supposed to be without the concept descriptions. 

Saturday morning cartoons have better "stone door rolling open to reveal hidden room" sound effects in things like scooby doo and the flintstones - I hope this isn't the 'final' sound effect. and they've just gone with a rough edit because the final wasn't ready.

Dreamworld have just sent out an email explaining the lore and backstory for Rivertown in detail. 

Jane and Murray must be dead because I've looked everywhere for the siblings but can't find them.

iirc, they are cannonically dead as the temple was discovered around 1926? (need to check the Murrissippi Motors est date). But they of course have the "live action" actors portraying the characters. So it's a bit confusing.

I picked it up from the get go that thats what it was, but ive only heard it on video if that changes anything. I've also played a few games with stone on stone sliding, so that may also be why i recognise it.
