Sometimes. Why do parks keep buying stuff from Skyline Attractions Inc?

Free coffee cups, you get with every ride purchase?

Trident is the only ride purchased to save money, but the mistake is, that ride isn't suited for its location.  I don't believe Huss isn't a cheap version of a Topspin and maybe SW had just got a dud one.  Leviathan, you don't buy a wooden coaster to save money.

Can’t lie, I’m pretty excited for this, The Gold Coast is very lucky to have3 new coasters opening this year (technically 4) but I’m most pumped for Jungle Rush, once the Intamin announcement is made things will be looking good for dreamworld.

Looking at the wheel bogies, it seems like the 'airtime' won't be too powerfull especially because the upstop wheels are angled and have a noticeable gap, so I expect the airtime to be weaker then BBM at Dollywood... I maybe be proven wrong still guess we will have to wait and see

Looks to me installation hasn't finished and it still has it's mounting plates attached which are used to hold it in the delivery crates?

The upstops are the same as roadrunner, and similar to the same ones as Movie world just announced I would say this is the final bogie design.

But also it's important to consider that maybe Vekoma didn't think they needed to be completely vertical. I'm not an engineer so it's hard for me to know. I'm just speculating

Looks like Vekoma’s solution for tight transitions is to move the upstops to prevent binding.   They are still upstops and I still expect moments of airtime.  I don’t believe anybody was expecting Rivals airtime.

I am surprised they have that small bit of fence there from ABC Kids World, you can see it near the end of the video

Didn't think they take mini that literally. Also my ears are going to be in pain from the shoddy panning on this video.

Is the audio really that bad? Just sounds a bit quiet on my end.

Realised they were probably talking about the presenter being ‘mini’. Whoops.

Oh nice, we actually get a stat. Not the most reliable stat, but the building itself is 25m tall. I'd be assuming the top height of the turntable is around 19-21m if that's the case.

I wasn't, but also when they say "12 airtime moments" I am hopeful that it is a little stronger then what DW has currently especially when most the park rides only focus on inversions

It most definitely won't be stronger than any airtime moment on Steel Taipan (Back row off the midcourse on ST is as strong, if not stronger, than any single DCR airtime moment anyway). What it has, like a smaller-scale, more family-oriented Leviathan, is its amount of airtime. It could be designed with as much airtime moments/duration in the layout as Vekoma or Dreamworld want it to, so long as it remains within the G-force limits of the restraints & trains. Which, if I had to guess, would be significantly less than even Leviathans are, limiting those airtime moments to contain nothing over pure 'floater' as to not overstress those wheels.

Another mini update released via Dreamworld’s youtube channel

Interesting to see the comparison between the nitty gritty details between Rivertown and Wizard of Oz land.

Done by the same company, presumably on a similar budget across both companies. Movie World's approach with Kansas (jury is still out on the other parts of the land) looks plasticy and brand spanking new while the temple is already weathered and looks a lot better IMO

It's ok, we know Movie World prefers to weather their themed elements naturally.

(it's a joke not a dick, don't take it so hard.)

the girl was hard-panned to the right ear whilst the guy was hard-panned to the left ear. it became unbearable trying to listen to it.

I thought DW was the safest place on the planet  and then they let a kid on a construction site.  🤷‍♀️  I hope the kid completed a health and safety induction, like I have to complete, every time I enter a commercial site.

It looked like each scene was on the very edge of the relevant section. I've absolutely no doubt given the construction manager was the other guy in the video that they would have cleared whatever relevant steps they needed to. The sunlight and shadows shows they filmed it very late in the day too, so no active work was going on at the time either.

I'm sure anyone who thinks Dreamworld has flouted WH&S will have already contacted WorkCover Queensland to dob them in.

On the edge you say?
