This might sound stupid but to me these looks to artificial and the colors are too bright if that makes sense.

"All the latest technologies" except new restraints apparently

By ‘latest technologies’, they must mean the latest technologies for Village rather than Intamin (delays/mishaps during construction, rare showy & vague press posts over actual communication to guests, and spending the bare minimum amount possible).

Missed school holidays, might as well aim for July now.

There's literally no point in arbitrarily delaying the opening if it's ready to go within the next couple of weeks (at most).

My guess is they’ll be officially opening it Friday April 26.

That would be leaving it quite late as NSW students are back at school the following Monday. Then again, there's not much to be gained from getting in just before Anzac Day either...

... If they'd had their shit together, early April would've served both QLD and NSW holiday visitors. Now, they're placed to open with great fanfare and nobody able to visit.

In all honesty, I don't know why parks target openings to occur bang on peak periods. There are inevitably teething issues and the ride's reputation is made or broken in that first peak rush.

Open it in the off season, give your operators time to bed down the processes without a 3 hour queue of angry families behind them, and iron out the kinks. Advertise the hell out of it and get soundbytes and reviews from real actual guests, rather than stupid rhetoric from the C Suite for your marketing - anyone planning a last minute trip for the next holidays might see that and decide to go as a result.

I agree with this fully. The main issue with the way the parks does it now is that it almost never opens in time for when it was marketed for and then throw in the issues and kinks every new ride has makes it a bad look for guest to see it closed during peak times when the extra capacity is needed.

Lethithan  is a perfect example of this the delays and the constant down time of construction killed the buzz and hype of its opening. Ultimately when it did open it was having constant issues with extended periods of downtime and the media had a frenzy talking about the disappointment of people flying from other parts of the country to ride it for it to be closed.

Try telling this to BGH @wikiverse

Operating costs aren't that important if you're attracting enough guests, which you won't do if you keep rides closed.
