Ok - just checking as a previous photo update showed the new steel around the top edges (similar in your 2nd photo). The only thing new in your photos I saw was the new top edge steel in the north-western corner (1st photo) & the scaffolding (both photos).

Not having seen the blueprints, I do hope when all is said and done that it's well integrated into the existing facades of Dreamworld's Main Street i.e. if this is a 100% standalone building and you can walk around it, that any guest facing facades outside of the Lego building retain that Victorian style finish.

they should be focusing on building a new coaster not a lame lego store selling over-priced plastic brickz for kidz

It's bricks

and it will be an iconic destination store that will draw people to the park (or at least to the entry), which can never be seen as a bad thing...

Lego is in no way just for kids, it's a very popular hobby among adults (or any age for that matter). Plus, DW will be having the first official Lego store in Australia, and having been to one in the UK very recently, they are quite special.

@Tornado Lego is pretty popular with adults to my friend bought a Lego man for over $40, just for one little figure.

This is what over-priced bricks look like, but people buy them and don't think it's lame

Seriously Tornado..

Your a total Tossa and you need to fuck off..

That is all.

Look I shouldn't as a mod but I friken love this post!

I think we all got the idea..

"Lego replica of Dreamworld" isn't a particularly ambiguous statement.

Also, LPS is about the same size as Corroboree  at DW. You'd need a hell of a lot of Lego, and space, to build the entire park

They didn't build LEGO versions of everything at Luna Park Sydney - only the FaceFerris Wheel, Wild Mouse & Crystal Palace. That's like, for Dreamworld, building LEGO versions of City Hall, Tower Of Terror II/Giant Drop, Hot Wheels SideWinder & Temple Of Huey (to represent Whitewater World). Just enough icons to look like a full park replica.
