Being that they haven't even removed the tree I'm going to bet on it being something insurance related. Possibly waiting for a claim etc for the cleanup/repair due to the attraction damage.

Maybe they've been speculating on the reopening expecting that a claim would have been finalised already?

  • I feel like WWW doesn’t get the airtime is deserves. It’s a pretty damn solid little park.

In what is no doubt a great addition, it looks like White Water World will be introducing ride photo kiosks during the seasonal break.

Despite already closing for maintenance this year and only reopening a few weeks ago, Serpent Slayer has unexpectedly closed and for a few months

The ride hasn’t operated the hard style mode for a few weeks now, so this could be in response to resolving that issue

Yeah, doesn’t seem to me like it’s gonna open in 2 weeks.

They should just take the ride off the maintenance page instead of extending it over and over when it isn't going to reopen.

I think it’s safe to say this is the end of this iteration of the vintage cars

Exactly this, simply have it listed as closed indefinitely on the website as MW currently has for Doomsday

Or just rebrand it as mursissippi motors and say it’s opening in December

Seems like they do really want to have it open one last time before Murrisippi Motors opens. With how slow insurers are though I don't think it will happen

I wonder what the feasibility is? Does anyone know if the cars are still on the track also are they repurposing the cars for Murrisippi motors. If zamperla is bringing in the U-Drive maybe we could see both potentially operating at the same time (I doubt it highly).

It's great to see enhancements still being made to WhiteWater world, it has been left behind in the redevelopment plans though, a lazy river would actually go well. I acknowledge the paintings of the slides and Fully Six but this was all pre 2022.

I would IMHO still think WWW is fine for a bit longer, money is better spent on the main DW park than WWW with another major thrill ride hopefully moving forward.

I do hope they keep the old cars for something other than props.

Like, convert some into character vehicles for Kenny and his friends (probably have to take the governor off to make the hill up to main street, but hey, where there's a will...)

Yeah. I wish they just were gonna keep using the old Model T's for the new ride and just add a shade cover on the cars. So unique to have such a sort-after car on a ride. Would be a shame to have them sit around rotting. I would rather that than scraped though. Selling them is their best option imo

‘Cause there’s no general Dreamworld Update page, and most of these qualify, non-Rivertown images/updates from today:

Touch-ups are being done on the pathway between Sky Voyager & DWF.

Giant Drop is running the opposite side (not the one facing ST).

And (I thought this had already been posted here, but I couldn’t find it so I’ll post anyway) there’s a new sign atop the redone Churro stand.IMG_7835.thumb.jpeg.12bb21a843ea68e13b208c069e34ce8b.jpeg

Thats a really long pathway to the Dreamworld Wildlife Foundation. I can't even find where it is on the map, but i'm assuming it's somewhere near the Tigers?

That's called 'East'. It is apparently quite common to balance things out maintenance wise, but I only ever see West running.

First there was blue screen, then there was green screen. Now beige screen is used to hide objects in front of a plain coloured wall.

The sign is nice enough but the colour choices are horrible against the background store colour.

I was thinking that lol, but thought context would be enough for it to be understood what DWF I was referring to. DF just doesn’t sound right to me, ig.
